The Wenatchee Valley Youth Soccer Association is comprised of 5 member clubs. These club register and administer youth soccer programs throughout the Wenatchee Valley for kids ages 5-18. The 5 clubs are: The Wenatchee Soccer Club, The Big River Soccer Club, The Cashmere Soccer Club, The Leavenworth/Upper Valley Soccer Club and the Wenatchee Fire FC. The Fire club is a "Select and Premier" program in which kids are selected for the team on a tryout basis. All other clubs are recreational and no tryouts are necessary.
There are 2 recreational programs available to youth for participating in soccer. The first is the Fall Soccer Program. Registration for this program runs from March through the end of June. Play begins in September. Each club registers their own players and all teams will play against one another for age groups over 7 years. The second program is a Spring Soccer Program administered by the Wenatchee Soccer Club. Registration is open in early January and open until the middle of February. Play begins in April. To register for this program, click on the Wenatchee Soccer Club icon on the left side of this page.
The Wenatchee Fire Futbol Club is the next step in competitive play for boys and girls U12-U18 in the greater Wenatchee Valley. The mission of the club is to "develop youth soccer players who excel on the field of play and in life" There are two primary levels of competition within the Fire club, Select and Premier. Select soccer is the next 3 levels of competitive soccer. Select soccer players go through a selection process and tryout are held in the month of May. Select players will generally travel statewide to participate in tournaments. Premier Soccer is the next 4 competitive levels of youth soccer after Select. Premier teams play state-wide and practice year round. Selection for the Premier teams occur at the same time as the Select teams. The ultimate goal for Premier players is to prepare them for the Olympic Development Program and/or college play. To register for this program, click on the IAL club tab on the left.
